NEAR NORTH CRIME STOPPERS AND ONTARIO POWER GENERATION
Ontario Power Generation (OPG) has made a generous contribution to Near North Crime Stoppers. Crime Stoppers involves the cooperative efforts of the community, the media and the police in the fight against crime.
OPG has had a long-time partnership with Near North Crime Stoppers to help promote community safety. The OPG/Crime Stoppers decal appears on all OPG fleet vehicles.

Tipsters now have the option of texting tips through their cell phone. The process is completely secure and anonymous.
1. Text 'Nipper plus tip information' to CRIMES (274637)
2. Upon receipt of your first message, the system will auto-reply with a confirmation containing your unique Tip ID.
3. To submit follow-up information, simply reply.
4. All follow-up tips and your replies from the application are written under the original parent record and shown threaded and date/time stamped in the narrative. You can terminate the thread by texting STOP into the system at any time or by manually selecting the 'Terminate Thread' button from within the application.

Near North Crime Stoppers (NNCS) is a community based program that utilizes the police, the media and the public in a cooperative effort to solve crime in our community.
NNCS is a non-profit, registered charity. The volunteer board of directors manages the program and raises funds through various activities in the community.
